PSAT/SAT vocabulary for early February!
Here are some words that show up often on The PSAT, SAT, and in real life. Fifteen total: five adjectives, five verbs and five nouns. Plus, at the bottom you’ll find some very useful and common figures of speech.
adjectives: stellar, verbose, flagrant, precise, authentic
nouns: apathy, turbulence, utopia, charlatan, attic
verbs: coalesce, deplete, exploit, sever, relinquish
sayings and figures of speech

to “roll out the red carpet?”
when something happens “once in a blue moon?”
to feel “green with envy?”
to pass with “flying colors?”
to buy something on the “black market?”
to be caught “red handed?”
